I guess when you tell the hostess you need a sling for the carrier they also think the baby needs a menu and crayons...or at least the hostess at Chili's thinks this!

Savannah and the Ocean

Katelyn met her Grandpa Winter and Uncle Matt for the first time last week. Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Matt made their first trip to GA. Katelyn made her first trip to Savannah and to the ocean, although she slept through almost all of it! No complaints here!

Uncle Matt looked like a pro. Katelyn even had her first major spit up all over his shirt. She was just showing him how much she loved him!!

We sure enjoyed having the Johannes' and the Winter's come visit and meet Katelyn. All of your help was so great and those naps I got were wonderful!

Katelyn seems to be growing more and more everyday. Some of her accomplishments this week include: sleeping in her crib, sleeping for 4 hours at night before waking up to eat and going back to sleep, and drinking out of a bottle (she doesn't even mind it cold!!) It seems so hard to believe that our little baby is almost a month old!! Where does time go?!?

2 Weeks Already?!?

Katelyn is 2 weeks old already and doing well. She had her well baby appt today and now weighs 8 pounds (she was 7# 4 oz at birth) and has also grown 1/2 inch. It seems so hard to believe how fast time is going! I wish time would slow down!

Katelyn had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma Johannes last week and we're excited to spend the next week with Grandpa and Grandma Winter and Uncle Matt!

Boy or Girl??

Katelyn survived her first trip to the commissary today. She actually did wonderful in the carseat and car ride and slept through the entire commissary. Before we left we purposely dressed her head to toe in pink in hopes to avoid the question, is it a boy or a girl? But no such luck. Some old lady asked Jack if it was a boy or a girl....What kind of parents dress their little boy in all pink?! Here is a picture of what she was wearing........

May 4th, Here and Gone.....

Well today was supposed to be the baby's birthday (according to the doctors guesses). No baby today but I'm hoping it will still come this week. I know there are lots of friends and family anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby J. Jack and I are ready to find out what I've been carrying for the last 9+ months. We've gotten many predictions from friends as to when it's going to arrive (between now and May 16). Leave a comment if you have a guess, I can't wait to see who is right! We will keep you all updated when the magical day arrives, and until then, send lots of baby vibes this way.
