{Watch Mommy Grow} 9 Months

Well, I'm not so happy to be writing this post today. Today is 2.0's due date and no sign of him yet. He needs to get this show rolling - there are too many people anxiously awaiting his arrival! I have an appt on Wednesday and I'm hoping that I'll be more dilated than a 1, but honestly, I'm not expecting it. My guess is, if my water doesn't break between now and February 28, he'll be an induction baby. I just do not foresee going to the hospital because of contractions. Please, please prove me wrong lil guy!!!

40 weeks!

And of course, a picture with my girl!
Please say a prayer that the next Baby 2.0 post will be pictures of our new lil guy!!! I'm not sure how much longer this Momma can hold out!

P.S. I am all caught up on the blog!! Finally and Woohoo!!!

Baby 2.0 Update

I went to the doctor today for my 39 week appt. Last week (my 38 week appt) I was dilated to 1 cm, this week....the same. Blah!! The doctor claims I'm still measuring right on track and baby's heart beat is nice and strong. If 2.0 doesn't make an appearance soon, his kickout date is February 28. I am not too happy with that date for an induction date because it is a tad too close to Leap Year for me. When I mentioned this concern to the doctor he said if they started the induction early in the morning than I'd have a baby by the end of the day, especially since it was my second one. Me on the other hand am not so sure about that. When I go for my 40 week appt I am going to once again express my concern. If it comes to an induction, I would like to be there at 12:01 on February 28 or wait until March 1. I'm sure he put me on February 28 because that is the day he is on so waiting until March 1 may not even be an option. SOOO, please say a little prayer that 2.0 will show up before the 28th so this doesn't become a possibility!! Hopefully I'm not writing from my 40 week appt........

Valentine's Day

Shortly after we moved to MO, we were invited to a playgroup. We've since attended weekly and it was our turn to host. So I decided that a Valentine's Party would be fun. I kept toying with which day to have it. Would I be in the hospital? Still pregnant?? In the end I decided to just go with the 14th and take my chances. After all, they would all understand if it had to be cancelled. Jack was secretly hoping that me doing this party would throw me into labor. Well, no luck with the going into labor part of it. The party still took place on Valentine's Day.  6 toddlers were invited as well as their mom's. I had activities planned and then of course there was always the toy room to keep them entertained.
Daddy's Valentine!

She wanted me to take pictures of her. Sounds good to me.

She was really hammin' it up!

Nice pose huh?!

Kisses before heading off to work.

I found this cute pattern on the internet to make mailboxes. I thought "Oh how fun. The kids can put them together." I was wrong about that. I put the first one together and it was a struggle so I decided to have them done before the kiddos arrived. Katelyn's valentines were heart crayons I made and the card said "Happy Valentine's Day for Crayon out loud."

There were heart shaped brownies and heart shaped sugar cookies to decorate. The kids put LOTS and LOTS of sprinkles on their cookies. That was no surprise to me though.

What Valentine's party would be complete without a heart shaped pizza??

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day full of love!! Our day was great and ended great as well. Grammie has arrived to stay for a couple weeks while we're waiting for 2.0 to arrive! He can come anytime!!

MO Snow #2

This snow was the most we have received yet and was about 4 inches. Katelyn was once again VERY happy to wake up in the morning and look out the window to see snow! Katelyn and I went out in the morning and she made tracks and rolled all over the place. They released post early because of the road conditions so Jack was home mid afternoon and they went back out again. She was very perplexed to find that her tracks were gone and wanted to know where they went. Unfortunately, we don't have a sled so she wasn't able to participate in sledding, maybe we can get one for the next snow because I doubt this winter is over with!

Hot chocolate to warm up after playing in the snow. She's never been a fan of chocolate but seemed to enjoy the hot chocolate. I think she felt like a big girl drinking out of that cup.

Round #2. Helping shovel snow with Daddy.

We never would have seen this in GA!
