Katelyn got her first ride in the Monte today! She was SOOO excited! Jack said that she wasn't so fond of the wind blowing in her face the whole time, but when she got home she reported that they went SO FAST! haha! It doesn't look like Daddy will be able to get away with much when he takes her :)

She even wore her sparkles for the big ride!

It looked so funny with a car seat in the back. It wasn't the easiest to get to fit back there either!

And they're off!

{7 Month Pictures}

{Watch Me Grow} 7 Months

Here we go again, another month has come and gone! Happy 7 months Big Boy!!

Milestones:

He is up on all 4s and rocking back and forth but not doing the "official" crawl just yet. He is definitely army crawling and gets to where he needs to go but it takes a bit longer. It won't be long now!

Still no teeth yet, but I can't imagine it will be too long. The front of his gums are white so the teeth are right there!

Language:

No words yet, just "Will" talk.

Eating:

He is still eating baby food like a champ. I usually feed him 2 ice cubes of fruit and 2 cubes of veggies at a meal. Lately he has been gobbling it up and acting as though he wants more to eat. I have tried giving him a few of the Gerber Puffs, but he doesn't quite know what to do with them. He won't pick them up himself and put them in his mouth and if he lets you put one in he isn't quite sure what to do and usually ends up spitting it back out. He just isn't ready for solid solids yet.

He is officially completely on formula! No more being tied down to a pump everyday! I am very happy that I was able to provide both of my kiddos with 6 months of breast milk, and for me, that was enough.

Sleeping:

UGH! Maybe one of these days. We had a couple week stretch where he was sleeping from 8PM - ~3/4 AMish and then eating a bottle and going back down until 7ish. Although this doesn't count in my book as sleeping through the night, it was better than what he was doing. I think his teeth are giving him a hard time too. The crying out method is going to be a lot harder with him than I was hoping; He can carry on FOREVER it seems! I should try to savor and enjoy all the snuggles I can get, but that isn't usually the mind set I'm in at 3 in the morning!

Travel/Events:

We went to Grammie and Pops for Labor Day weekend. He got plenty of extra lovin' and attention. He did pretty good in the car this time too.

Grammie and Pops also came for a weekend and watched the kids while we went to a Dining Out. He didn't do so well - lots of crying, but in the end, they prevailed! I guess he's at that point where he knows who we are and when we aren't there!

Daddy sent Mommy out of town for a weekend as a birthday present. It was just the 3 of them. He seemed to do pretty well without Mommy and even slept from about 10:30-5:30. Maybe I should leave more often ;)

Favorite Toys:

He is really starting to enjoy his toys since he can get to them all by himself and play with whatever he wants. His favorite is probably the little vtech barnyard toy that has a little keyboard is loud and obnoxious! :) He also likes a book that has mirrors in it.

And he LOVES to jump in his jumper still! When he is tired of crawling around or tired of sitting in his high chair when we are still finishing up dinner, we can put him in the bouncer and he just goes to town squealing as he jumps.

He also enjoys getting into whatever toy Katelyn has left out. And boy can he move when he sees something he shouldn't be into!
