Miner Mike's

We went to Osage Beach and met the Watkins' for the day. We ate lunch at a local Mexican restaurant and then headed over to Miner Mike's to see what kind of fun we could find. Miner Mike's is right across from the outlet mall and I'd always wondered what it was. Since it was so hot, we wanted to find something indoors to keep the kids occupied and this did the trick and then some!

There were 3 rides: a train (that went pretty darn fast around the track), a small ferris wheel, and bumper cars. The rides weren't as big of a hit as I thought they might be with her but they also had a HUGE maze. Think McDonald's play place but times 10! This thing was huge, with tons of tubes, ball pits, and air guns. The girls played in there for over 2 hours and weren't too happy when we said it was time to go home. I think they could have played ALL day! Unfortunately there aren't any pictures of the maze :(

This train really zipped around the track. And Katelyn loved it! I think she's going to take after her dad when it comes to amusement park rides. I don't care so much for them and really do not like roller coasters.

Here they come!

Hold on!!!

The little covered wagon ferris wheel.

She has been into ferris wheels lately and always asking to go on one whenever we see one so she was pretty excited about this ride. It wasn't a big one, but did the job for her!

And then, my favorite! The bumper cars. The girls weren't big enough to ride and drive them by themselves and of course the Dad's wanted to get in on the action. One small problem.....Jack didn't really fit too well! He did attempt to squeeze in the seat but the worker told him he could sit on the back.

BUMP! There were lots of head on collisions.

The 3 girls riding the horses.....Kennedy wasn't much of a fan!

Beep Beep!
I think we'll definitely be heading back to Miner Mike's someday....but probably just do the maze since that was the most fun!
